Role Overview Patco Brands is seeking a Data System Administrator responsible for the overall configuration, maintenance, and technical support of the Product Lifecycle Management system and its integrations, which are critical to the company's New Product Development (NPD) process. This role ensures the integrity, security, and accessibility of all beverage formulas, packaging specifications, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and regulatory data, supporting cross-functional teams from R&D to launch.
Responsibilities
Formula & Recipe Management: Support the R&D team by configuring the system to efficiently manage complex formula versions, scale-up details, and raw-material specifications specific to beverage production.
Regulatory Compliance: Work with the Regulatory team to configure system fields and reporting to track and generate necessary documentation for global food safety, labeling, and compliance checks (e.g., Non-GMO, Organic, Kosher, TTB).
BOM Management: Ensure accurate creation and revision control of Bill of Materials for both finished goods and work-in-progress materials, linking formulas to packaging components.
Data Integrity & Structure: Manage the master data structure, ensuring the consistency and accuracy of key attributes such as ingredients, allergens, nutritional information, packaging specifications, and regulatory documentation across all new products.
Integrations: Oversee the configuration and performance of interfaces between the PLM system and other critical business systems, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), PIM (Product Information Management), and Quality Management Systems.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor PLM system performance and data flow to identify bottlenecks and recommend continuous process and system improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 3+ years of experience in System Administration, specifically with a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Product Data Management (PDM) system. Experience in the Food & Beverage or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry is highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience with NetSuite system administration (configuration, workflow, user management).
Familiarity with data governance, master data management, and data cleansing practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced NPD environment.
