Base Pay Range $110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Location Fairfield, CA

Summary Patco Brands seeks a Procurement Manager to oversee indirect spend across multiple critical categories within the Procurement department. You must be proactive, driven, and have a sense of urgency. You will have a deep understanding of supply chain, category management, and how to build and maintain supplier relationships. You will be responsible for procuring materials assigned to you in the most cost‑effective way while improving internal/external processes. As the team lead, you will identify, assign, and prioritize tasks for other buyers in procurement and serve as the first point of contact for issues in other categories. This role requires strong independent work, problem‑solving, and deep analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Take the lead in addressing issues that arise in the day‑to‑day challenges across all categories

Convey challenges faced by the team to the Senior Director of Procurement and propose solutions

Maintain and further develop cross‑functional meetings across production, inventory, finance, and marketing to improve overall supply chain

Build relationships with suppliers and lead processes to ensure value is driven from these relationships

Manage suppliers through a robust performance management process; conduct quarterly business reviews and ensure vendor performance is understood and measured (Scorecard Management)

Ensure all materials within managed categories are delivered in time for production and cost‑effectively

Drive cost savings through improved operational efficiencies, pricing exercises, and regular RFPs

Provide monthly forecasts to all suppliers

Work closely with internal and external production teams to ensure bottling is never impacted

Lead category management projects to optimize purchasing

Manage excess materials

Ensure all relevant documentation from partners is received within 24 hours

Purchase goods, materials, components, or services that are in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets

Monitor and advise on any issues that present risk or opportunity to the organization

Provide cost analysis and review cost reduction activities with stakeholders

Prepare reports and updates as and when required

Review and approve invoicing & bill of lading for receiving before payment

Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues

Skills

Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and suppliers

Great communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and influencing skills

Analytical, numerically astute, with strong demonstrated problem‑solving abilities

Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and achieve set targets

Commercial and financial awareness with a complete understanding of how failure impacts production, manufacturing, and customer order fulfilment

Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations

Keen attention to detail and accuracy

Familiarity with an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) would be beneficial

Requirements

4+ years of procurement and supply chain experience

Experience in consumer goods/beverage and manufacturing industry

Experience leading a group of peers in a supply chain setting

Extensive experience with indirect spend categories

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple critical projects and guide others in a team with own projects

Advanced analytical skills – Excel

Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products and Google Drive

Full‑time in Fairfield, CA office
