As the SI&T Chief Integration and Test Engineer, you will lead the integration and testing of complex electronic systems for the defense industry. You will coordinate with hardware, software, and firmware teams, manage integration plans, develop test procedures, and drive verification and validation activities for RF and unmanned aerial system (UAS) programs. Tactical Role
• Lead and mentor system/integration and test engineers. • Develop integration plans and test procedures from system requirements. • Prepare gate review materials such as Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and Integration Readiness Reviews (IRR). • Oversee V&V phases and troubleshoot technical issues in the lab. • Manage schedules and labor budgets in partnership with program and project teams. Strategic Role
• Drive infrastructural improvements to system integration processes and tools. • Participate in Independent Review Teams (IRT) and advise junior project teams. • Develop training and mentorship programs for new engineers. • Facilitate cross‑site information-sharing to promote core processes. Essential Functions
Manage and guide a team of system integrators through early life‑cycle development. Lead systems through Environmental Qualification Test (EQT). Develop test specifications and execute design verification tests for hardware. Coordinate with Systems Engineering, Project Engineering, Field Test, and Operations staff to resolve software issues and reduce cycle time. Develop processes aligned with industry best practices. Interpret drawings, diagrams, schematics, test procedures, and test requirements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years relevant experience, OR graduate degree with 10+ years. Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance. 10+ years using high‑speed digital and RF test equipment. 10+ years integrating and troubleshooting component‑level RF and power assemblies. 8+ years experience in Electronic Warfare or comparable RF technology. 6+ years integrating complex systems or system of systems. 4+ years leading technical teams through product integration. 4+ years cost account management (CAM) with EVMS. Preferred Additional Skills
Excellent organizational and presentation skills. System Integration Lab (SIL) setup and management. Coordination of customer demonstration and test events. Support for environmental qualification (EQT), reliability growth (RGT), and first‑article test (FAT) cycles. In‑depth knowledge of Electronic Warfare technologies and countermeasures. Experience testing and integrating security technologies. Design and integration experience with Built‑in Integrated Test (BIT). Proficiency with DOORS, MagicDraw, and other system modeling tools. Solid fundamentals in electrical engineering with troubleshooting to the CCA/SRA level. Experience with mapping products (NGA), GoogleEarth Pro, Foreflight, and UAS mission planning (ArduPilot, Piccolo). FAA Pilot License (Private or higher). Salary
In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $150,000 – $278,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; the final offer may vary based on experience and geographic location. Benefits
