We’re looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy team. In this role, you’ll be a key player in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for hospitalized patients.
What You’ll Do:
Verify and dispense medications accurately for inpatient use
Review medication orders for safety, efficacy, and compliance with hospital policy and guidelines
Monitor patient therapies and lab results, recommending adjustments to treatment as needed
Provide drug information and clinical support to physicians, nurses, and care teams
Supervise and verify the work of pharmacy technicians/students
Document clinical interventions
Participate in the multidisciplinary care of the patient
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (Joint Commission, USP, state/federal laws)
What We’re Looking For:
PharmD or BSPharm
Active pharmacist license in Massachusetts
Preferred:
Prior inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience
Prior sterile compounding experience or oversight of compounding
Desirable:
Completion of a PGY1 residency
Board certification (e.g., BCPS)
