Digital Systems Network Architect – Overview

The Digital Systems Network Architect for Lockheed Martin’s Edge Processing Center Of Excellence will establish, develop and lead the technology insertion and definition for LM space, as well as multi‑domain networking products.
The individual is responsible for selecting and defining technologies, interfaces, protocols, networking architectures, fault tolerance, self‑healing, network management, and overall system architecture of current and next‑generation space networks enabling industry‑leading data transport, data fusion and cognitive capabilities on our space platforms.
Responsibilities
Understand and develop architectures supporting multi‑domain networks.
Work with stakeholders to understand and establish requirements and decompose the requirements into executable architectures.
Communicate technical and programmatic trades of different technologies and architectures to stakeholders.
Provide technical leadership to select, design, and deliver space networking products, standards, and protocols.
Basic Qualifications
15+ years experience with electronics architecture or product development.
Experience with microelectronics.
Experience with either technical or programmatic leadership for proposals or programs.
Must have an Interim TS Clearance to start with the ability to obtain & maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Skills
Experience working with Lockheed Martin Space customers.
Active TS/SCI Clearance.
