Role Overview
Join our SSP Software Development team responsible for our real-time bidding exchange, processing billions of transactions with a focus on performance and scalability. You will experiment with new technologies for Programmatic Ad Serving and Ad Tech solutions.
This role is based in Bellevue, WA, with a hybrid schedule (three days in-office, remote).
Responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain backend services using modern technologies.
Write well-tested, maintainable code.
Analyze data to inform design decisions.
Participate in troubleshooting and support.
Create technical documentation.
Engage in continuous personal development.
Improve development processes and share knowledge.
Work within agile methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications: 1+ years of professional coding experience; Bachelors in CS or related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-starter with experience in learning new technologies. Proficiency in at least two of the following: PHP, JavaScript, SQL.
What You Will Learn: Building large-scale distributed systems. Agile development practices. Optimization and benchmarking. Code maintainability and testing. Ad tech fundamentals like OpenRTB, ad-serving, traffic shaping, segment targeting. Tools and technologies like Node.js, Redis, Aerospike, Nginx, AWS, Kafka, and advanced SQL.
