We are using our solutions in rail and track to create a more connected and sustainable world—environmentally and socially. We are seeking a Sr. Overhead Contact System (OCS) Engineer responsible for the design of catenary systems for high-speed rail, commuter rail, light rail, and streetcar systems across the U.S. This role can be based anywhere in the northeast U.S. with travel as needed. You will prepare reports, plans, calculations, specifications, and estimates for OCS projects. Design layout plans, wire profiles, support structures, hardware, grounding, and bonding. Work independently and within teams to design and modify catenary systems, collaborating with engineers from Jacobs and other firms, as well as rail agencies. We value collaboration and support a hybrid working policy, allowing a mix of office and remote work to enable you to deliver your best. Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering Significant experience in catenary system design AutoCAD/MicroStation skills Ability to travel as needed Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license Salary Range
Minimum: $145,000.00; Maximum: $185,000.00 Benefits
