What You’ll Be Doing
Assist in sourcing, ordering, and tracking materials and equipment for fire protection projects.
Communicate regularly with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm pricing, follow up on deliveries, and maintain valuable relationships.
Ensure order accuracy, including correct parts, best pricing, and availability based on project schedules and team needs.
Respond to field requests for urgent or missing items to keep projects on schedule.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.
Support project coordinators, managers and field teams with material needs and substitutions.
What You’ll Need To Do It
Bachelor’s Degree
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage various tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with purchasing or inventory management software preferred.
Willingness to learn purchasing and material coordination processes.
