Position Overview The Operations Supervisor plays a key role in managing their team’s workflow by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. They ensure safety and efficiency by improving processes, setting team targets, and acting as a link between employees and upper management. Supervisors are also responsible for coaching and resolving issues.
Work Location This is an on‑site role.
Work Schedule Monday – Thursday 5:00 pm – 5:00 am.
Compensation & Benefits Attractive annual salary of $75,000–$85,000 depending on experience plus bonus with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Promote a safe environment for the customer’s product, associates, and temporary workers.
Follow established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
Provide 100% customer satisfaction.
Build a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
Help maintain attendance and tardiness records.
Monitor daily compliance with safety procedures.
Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
Provide on‑the‑job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels.
Coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints and associate concerns productivity and quality of work.
Oversee warehouse associates.
Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food‑grade warehouse.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some college level study is required.
3+ years’ experience in a supervisory warehousing role.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
Microsoft Office Suites experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Lean Six Sigma experience a plus.
Inventory experience a plus.
Third‑Party Logistics (3PL) experience a plus.
