The Global Data Strategy Senior Analyst will help shape Equifax’s Data Strategy and execution of that strategy across the Global Data Office, business units (BUs), and countries (GEOs), as well as the broader enterprise.

Reporting to the Head of Global Data Strategy, the Global Data Strategy Senior Analyst will work on three key areas: (1) supporting our annual strategic planning process, (2) partnering with the business units/ countries on high priority data strategy projects, and (3) analyzing data and providing coordination in support of global data acquisitions.

The Global Data Strategy Senior Analyst will work across functions including data & analytics, IT, finance, and product. Key day-to-day activities could include strategy presentation development, quantitative analysis, strategy special project assignments, and coordinating projects.

Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week.

This role reports to our office in midtown Atlanta, Georgia (OAC) with travel to our Alpharetta location up to once per week.

What you will do

Annual Strategic Planning:

Combine internal and external intel on data trends, distill key insights, and articulate relevant opportunities for Equifax data.

Support the head of Global Data Strategy in developing and harmonizing data strategy against global data priorities.

Help identify global needs across geographies to guide global data priorities and resources.

Special Projects:

Independently partner with the business units/ countries on strategic projects: (e.g., data expansion opportunities, standardizing processes, identifying growth opportunities).

Provide actionable insights through well-designed visualizations and interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Looker

Data Acquisition:

Explore opportunities and vet business use cases for the productization and monetization of datasets

Analyze datasets for quality, relevance, and potential value and providing executive level summaries of findings

What experience you will need

Bachelor's degree in related discipline required; Master's degree preferred; Equivalent experience will be considered.

5-7 years of analysis, product management, and/or consulting experience regarding data, including financial services data.

Experience with complex data analysis, visualization, and development of insights based on the data.

Independent in thinking and framing problems, driven by intellectual curiosity.

Strong quantitative and problem solving skills.

Executive presence and comfort with developing compelling presentations to leaders.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align and coordinate internal resources.

What could set you apart

Masters in Analytics or similar degree.

Cloud experience, especially Google Cloud Platform experience and/or a certification.

Data Strategy Consulting Experience.

Process design or process improvement experience.

Experience in ETL tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL).

Proficiency in data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).

Experience with data governance tools (Collibra, Informatica, etc.).

Experience in developing KPI and OKR programs.
