The Global Data Strategy Senior Analyst will help shape Equifax’s Data Strategy and implement that strategy across the Global Data Office, business units (BUs), countries (GEOs), and the broader enterprise.

Reporting to the Head of Global Data Strategy, the analyst will focus on three key areas: supporting our annual strategic planning process, partnering with business units and countries on high‑priority data projects, and analyzing data to support global data acquisitions.

The role works across functions including data & analytics, IT, finance, and product. Key day‑to‑day activities may include strategy presentation development, quantitative analysis, special project assignments, and coordinating projects.

Equifax offers a hybrid work schedule of two days remote (Monday and Friday) and three days onsite. This role is based in our midtown Atlanta office, with occasional travel to Alpharetta.

This is a direct‑hire position and is not open to C2C or vendors. The role does not offer immigration sponsorship.

What You Will Do

Annual Strategic Planning:

Combine internal and external intel on data trends, distill key insights, and articulate relevant opportunities for Equifax data.

Support the head of Global Data Strategy in developing and harmonizing data strategy against global data priorities.

Help identify global needs across geographies to guide global data priorities and resources.

Special Projects:

Independently partner with business units and countries on strategic projects such as data expansion opportunities, process standardization, and growth initiatives.

Provide actionable insights through well‑designed visualizations and interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Looker.

Data Acquisition:

Explore opportunities and vet business use cases for the productization and monetization of datasets.

Analyze datasets for quality, relevance, and potential value, and provide executive‑level summaries of findings.

What Experience You Will Need

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Master’s preferred).

5–7 years of analysis, product management, or consulting experience in data, including financial services data.

Proficiency in complex data analysis, visualization, and insight development.

Strong quantitative and problem‑solving skills.

Executive presence and experience developing compelling presentations for leaders.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

What Could Set You Apart

Master’s in Analytics or a similar degree.

Cloud experience, particularly Google Cloud Platform or a related certification.

Data strategy consulting experience.

Process design or improvement experience.

Experience with ETL tools and scripting languages such as Python or SQL.

Proficiency with data visualization platforms like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

Experience with data governance tools (Collibra, Informatica, etc.).

Experience developing KPI and OKR programs.
