Pay Range The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory provided a pay range of $12.00/hr - $13.00/hr . Responsibilities Operate the vehicle safely, report accidents promptly, and complete necessary paperwork. Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the truck. Plan routes, make calls for scheduled pickups, and develop efficient routes. Represent The Salvation Army professionally, treat customers courteously, and follow the Manual for Production Assistants. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and trips. Load and unload the truck carefully, securing goods to prevent damage. Assist with delivery tasks and supervise the Truck Helper, providing a good example and guidance. Support the work therapy program by demonstrating professional conduct and supervision. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or administrator. Qualifications Effective communication skills. Valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record; must pass a driving test. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Ability to read maps, plan routes, and use GPS devices and related technology. Excellent customer service skills. Medical card and passing a DOT Physical are required, depending on location.
