POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversee all Public Entity and appointed broker lead generation activities and be responsible for revenue growth through new business sales while expanding and maintaining existing revenue. Provide guidance, training, and supervision of Business Development personnel. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the Western Region sales team Create revenue paths in Public Entity and Brokerage markets to generate new business Travel to prospective accounts, existing clients, trade shows, and meetings (~40%) Work with Regional Business Development team to expand TRISTAR’s territory, lines of business, and capabilities Develop rapport with potential clients and industry consultants to enhance revenue opportunities Delegate sales leads for RFP responses Present solutions to meet client needs, increasing revenue potential Participate in client implementation meetings with Sales and Operations Coordinate with Sales and Client Services on new client implementation Support servicing of accounts, troubleshoot, and provide consulting Develop and deliver sales presentations Maintain client contact at various levels Coordinate with departments to ensure service delivery Focus on profitability, aiming for EBITDA >10% Attend trade shows and industry events, managing budgets Maintain Salesforce data and monitor team input Gather market intelligence via FOIA as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred), 7+ years sales experience, 3+ years sales management Skills and Abilities:
Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Proficient in Excel, Word, TC 2.0, Salesforce Excellent communication skills Effective presentation and responsiveness Knowledge of Solution Selling Understanding of the Third-Party Administration industry Strong sales and customer service skills Build and maintain trust and relationships Other Qualifications: None
