MedStar Health Urgent Care is looking for experienced emergency medicine, urgent care, or family medicine physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. Advanced Practice Providers work autonomously with supportive physician mentorship. Providers are assigned to a region but can set preferences for their top sites. We are seeking providers to manage acute walk-in urgent cases and perform minor procedures. Procedures include, but are not limited to, suturing, fracture care/splinting, I&Ds, interpreting EKGs, and wet reading X-rays (all films are read by a radiologist). We have an on-site, low-complexity lab for point-of-care testing, most sites have a full x-ray suite, and support staff are available. We operate 12 hours daily, with varying shift lengths. As part of the MedStar Health System, we aim to provide patients with personalized care in community-based offices, along with access to the latest medical advances. Our providers have on-site access to pediatric, emergency medicine, and cardiologist teleconsultants, ensuring continuous support. MedStar’s extensive network of emergency departments, primary care, and specialists offers excellent continuity of care. Our referral management program helps patients access primary care and specialists quickly. This position offers a hiring range of: $224,640 - $291,200 (Physicians) $121,680 - $174,720 (Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners) #DOX-2
