Job Summary
The Warehouse Lead directs the day‑to‑day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe handling of inventory, equipment, and deliveries. They oversee security and maintenance of the building, perform all required SAP functions, and lead a team of warehouse associates.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the flow of work, assigning tasks to team members.
- Train or cross‑train associates in safe and efficient operations.
- Maintain the building and grounds to meet company and government standards.
- Ensure safe operation of all warehouse equipment and vehicles in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Perform SAP functions to keep warehouse and deliveries efficient and accurate.
- Act as a Warehouse Associate when needed, carrying out general duties.
- Oversee inventory processes and communicate with internal customers regarding orders, inventory, and deliveries.
- Assist with driver record maintenance and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform delivery driver duties as required.
- Help maintain CDL compliance for heavy vehicles.
- Participate in daily safety meetings and address concerns.
- Execute additional duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.
Qualifications
- Two‑year business/trade degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum three years of supervisory experience in warehouse distribution or city desk operations preferred.
- Good knowledge of electrical products or systems preferred.
- Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
- Experience operating a forklift preferred.
- Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, Email, SAP software).

Physical Requirements
Occasional lifting up to 33% of the time; frequent lifting 34–66%; continuous lifting 67–100%. Must perform single lifts up to 100 lbs. Occasionally. Requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and handling. Driving forklift frequently. Must maintain full hearing and tolerate exposure to adverse weather. No travel required.
