Responsibilities

• Print the RCCR report from DSDA daily to ensure the core returns from the previous day are accounted for in the dirty core storage area.
• Investigate cores in core storage areas that are not on the RDCI report and coordinate with drivers/OPS as needed.
• Credit cores that have not been credited based on proper core criteria.
• Create RDCI and export reports; record cores being returned.
• Create VRTN in the CDK system (core return process).
• Consolidate, skid, and ship cores daily (except Thursday) to the Woodbridge location.
• Achieve and maintain a dirty core percentage of 2.5%.
• Manage core counts monthly to reconcile physical core bank to RDCI.
• Print CMOD reports monthly and maintain CMOD backup with reasons for core removals/additions.
• Investigate core chargebacks and ensure customers are billed back for rejected cores; inform accounting of cores charged back.
• Learn core criteria to ensure viable cores are returned; communicate with customers regarding core questions or issues.
• Ensure quality approval for cash customers before credits are issued.
• Print warranty report every Monday; remove parts from the warranty shed and tag with appropriate paperwork.
• Create RPA in Paragon; consolidate and skid warranty parts and ship to Woodbridge weekly.
• Manage warranty returns weekly (core and non-core) and review lists for scrap or shipment with regular cores.
• Maintain an organized and clean warranty parts inventory; tag and store all warranty parts appropriately.
• Investigate chargebacks or missing warranty parts.
• Run daily return reports for returns from the previous day and ensure returned parts are in saleable condition and properly located.
• Locate parts with new locations if necessary; issue credits for returns (other than front/back counter).
• Determine purchase timeframe and assess for restocking fees or non-returnable parts due to damage or age; coordinate larger returns with OPS, drivers, or customers for timely processing.
• Manage customer issues/inquiries regarding returns or credits and maintain a safe, organized working environment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations; operate warehouse vehicles and equipment as needed.

Qualifications

Education
A high school diploma and/or GED is required. A combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities is acceptable.

Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a transportation, warehouse, or supply chain environment.
