Salary: $95,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year

Overview

Secure Detention Administrative Assistant supports administrative duties, ensuring smooth office operations, communication, and compliance with training and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain sign‑in log, answer phones, direct inquiries and track tasks.
  • Upload documents to agency intranet, perform data entry, edit and proofread documents.
  • Order supplies and maintain office equipment, file, shred, photocopy and scan.
  • Process invoices, call vendors for info and submit electronically.
  • Assist in setting up training courses and confirm new hires are registered for required training.
  • Ensure all staff complete required training and remain compliant.
  • Act as liaison with landlord regarding office space issues.
  • Assist with hiring paperwork including hiring packets for new hires.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of administrative, customer service or human services experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.
  • Ability to work with an economically and culturally diverse population.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and data entry ability.
