Rugged Trade is a local work wear store focused on serving the hard-working communities of Eastern New Mexico. We are a rapidly growing, family-owned company and are looking for a part-time administrative assistant to work in our finance department at our Carlsbad location. Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual with previous administrative assistant experience .
Essential Responsibilities Include:
General A dministrative D uties
D ata entry
P icking up mail from the post office
S orting and scanning documents
F iling mail and documents
M aking bank deposits
A nswering phones
Accounts Receivable Duties
Send invoice statements via email
Submit invoices in Open Invoice and Ariba
Update internal databases , platforms, and spreadsheets
Review daily invoices and vouchers for accuracy and report issues to accounting manager
M aintain daily mailing and billing paperwork
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience as an administrative assistant is required.
Experience in accounts receivable is preferred.
Must p ossess strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Must be proficient with Microsoft 365 programs.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing.
