We have an opening for a full‑time front desk / office staff person to work at Biojunction Sports Therapy in West Seattle as well as another opening in Columbia City. Both are excellent locations with many restaurants, parks, shops and public transport nearby. The company is owned by a local physical therapist with 23 years of experience and has been in business for 14 years. Compensation varies based on experience, and no experience in the medical field is necessary. Full‑time employees receive medical/dental benefits, a simple IRA with a 4% employer match, and paid time off. The shift available is from 11:45 am to 8:15 pm, Monday–Friday. POSITION SUMMARY: The Front Desk Staff is responsible for direct customer service in answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, greeting, checking in, and scheduling all patients for appointments, scanning & faxing documents, entering information into the electronic health record, and working closely with physical therapists and staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greeting, checking in, and scheduling patients
• Scanning and uploading pertinent patient information into EMR including new patient paperwork, authorizations, referrals, and protocols delivered by the patient
• Answering phone calls and checking voicemail
• Emailing/calling patient appointment reminders
• Running reports through EMR (e.g., batch reports, fax logs, MIA list)
• Completing clinic inventory reviews every two weeks
• General clinic maintenance – noted on the daily checklist
• Assisting other staff as needed
• Other projects and duties as assigned
• Verifying patient insurance benefits (for applicants with more experience)
