Accounting Technician
San Diego Community College District – San Diego Miramar College. Classified position with a 12‑month term, 1.0 FTE. Pay: Range 21 ($5,387.63–$6,417.36) per month. FLSA: Non‑exempt (may accrue overtime). Hours: Monday‑Thursday 10 :00 am‑6 :30 pm; Friday 8 :00 am‑4 :30 pm. Closing date: 3/22/2024.
Responsibilities
Perform a wide variety of paraprofessional accounting work.
Maintain interrelated records and files.
Post data, make arithmetical calculations with speed and accuracy.
Prepare clear and accurate financial statements and reports and analyze accounting data.
Maintain records and prepare reports.
Operate standard office machines and equipment, including computers and calculators.
Use computer applications, including spreadsheets and databases.
Work confidentially with discretion.
Work independently with little direction.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Foreign degree: applicants with foreign degrees must have coursework evaluated by NACES or ACEI; evaluation copy required.
