Overview The liquid manufacturing operator is responsible for cleaning, setting up and operating the production room and various manufacturing equipment and associated paperwork is completed in a timely manner to ensure that the production schedule is met. Responsibilities Prepare production room equipment for operation: disassemble, clean, and assemble equipment. Clean manufacturing room prior to and after use. Handle materials: lifting, scraping, weighing, and processing materials according to batch records and SOPs. Manufacture liquid products following batch records and related SOPs and step-by-step processing instructions. Adhere to cGMPs and ensure work is checked by a second person as it is performed. Document all work promptly in batch records, component inventory sheets, and logbooks. Assist in revising production SOPs as needed and support plant readiness by collaborating with other departments to resolve deficiencies. Provide project support in manufacturing and equipment design/operation; assist in troubleshooting, teardown, repair, refurbishment, overhaul, assembly, testing, and calibration of manufacturing equipment. Assist in executing IQ/OQ/PQ protocols on liquid manufacturing equipment and other pharma equipment as needed. Assist in training new liquid manufacturing personnel. Work environment Dusty and/or wet environment typical of a manufacturing setting. Wear company-supplied uniforms and required PPE such as safety-toed shoes, safety glasses with side shields, and hearing protection as applicable. Physical demands Ability to stand for long periods and to lift up to 50 pounds regularly; operate material handling equipment as needed. Position details Full-time position. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with potential for extended hours or weekend work as required.
