Currently, in the process of becoming a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in female health, with sensitivity toward Orthodox Jewish female adults. Responsibilities
Deliver primary care services, including preventative care, psychosocial support, acute medical care, diagnostics, treatment, consultation, and patient education. Perform age-appropriate history and physical examinations for acute and chronic illnesses. Recognize critical illnesses and notify appropriate entities. Collaborate with supervising physicians as needed. Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments. Implement and monitor interventions to restore patient health. Diagnose common and less common ailments, investigating clinical problems and offering medical solutions. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families. Perform procedures using appropriate methods and equipment. Provide patient education tailored to understanding levels. Participate actively in Quality Improvement activities. Job Requirements
Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Current RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses in Illinois. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a recognized national certifying body (e.g., AANP, ANCC). Minimum 2 years of experience in the field (new graduates may apply). Current provider card in CPR. Current DEA and Controlled Substance License if applicable. Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records. Ability to respond effectively to healthcare emergencies. Benefits
