Job Overview The ideal candidate for the Sales Manager role will have a solid understanding of the financial services industry, brokerage operations, and proven success in a dynamic fast‑paced environment. Outstanding customer service and effective communication skills are essential. The team lead will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day responsibilities of a team of licensed financial advisors. Responsibilities include overseeing and reporting on sales performance, talent management (including recruiting), workforce management (including administrative items), and client management.
Responsibilities
Talent Management: Create a culture of growth, ensuring that relationship deepening is properly executed and business objectives are met. Conduct regular one‑on‑ones with advisors to discuss career development, goal setting, and setting appropriate expectations. Include recruiting efforts to bring in additional talent as needed.
Sales Performance: Conduct coaching sessions and trainings to help advisors expand knowledge and meet sales goals. Drive engagement by promoting a healthy and positive competitive culture.
Business Management: Review advisor productivity, SLA, and progress toward business goals. Create reports on current and past sales trends and report up.
Workforce Management: Supervise investment and relationship deepening, ensure coordination and adherence to policies and procedures. Manage all time‑off requests to maintain sufficient staffing levels to support SLA.
Client Management: Handle manager callbacks and client escalations in a timely manner. Coach advisors on best practices to mitigate complaints and put clients first. Have a deep understanding of operational processes to answer questions.
Collaborate with key partners to identify, develop, and execute initiatives that improve advisor productivity, enhance the end‑investor experience, and accelerate new client acquisition.
Adapt to a fluid, fast‑paced environment with frequently changing priorities, processes, requirements, etc.
Employ critical and strategic thinking skills; be a self‑motivated team player.
Desire to lead, passion for sales management, and deep commitment to client service.

FINRA Series 7 and 66
FINRA Series 9/10 is a plus; expected to obtain within first 6 months of hire
2+ years of previous management experience
2+ years of investment and advisory experience
Ability to work onsite in our Austin, Tempe, or Fort Mill office is required
Preferences
Comprehensive industry and investment knowledge
Excellent communication skills and a track record of success in sales, sales leadership, and overall leadership skills
Pay Range $105,700.00–$176,200.00 per year. The pay salary range includes base salary and potential sales incentive compensation based on the applicable incentive compensation plan. Incentive compensation depends on achievement of goals set forth in the incentive plan.
