What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering both technical and professional growth
Manage project timelines, commitments, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
Collaborate with users, leadership, and stakeholders to align product design and operational usage
Develop scalable backend services for data discovery and data lineage systems
Write high-quality, maintainable code to process large volumes of data
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a data engineer or data pipeline engineer
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Strong development experience with Python and SQL
Expertise with AWS services and solutions (EKS, Lambda, ETL)
Experience with distributed system design and development
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Prior experience managing small teams
Experience with infrastructure monitoring
Familiarity with cross-functional development teams
Previous experience with agentic workflows
Experience in autonomous vehicles (AV)
