Description This job is for a most challenging, complex, high volume and large scale project having all possible AWS services+Integrations involved, CI/CD pipeline creation and management, CDK development, Cloud application development, deployment across a number of AWS regions, and tools development for monitoring and operational excellence.
Key job responsibilities The engineer in this job is expected to make the design (high level and low level), own end to end (depth) for a specific set of features while having breadth on the rest of the features and provide technical guidance for the junior members in the team.

Feature development
Peer code and design review
Interact with internal and external stakeholders (Dev and QA) on clarifying requirements, resolving dependencies, etc.
Oncall rotation
About The Team The team is working on a most business critical, high visibility, large scale & high device volume project involving embedded development (device side), cloud development (AWS services, API, CDK, pipelines, container management) etc.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of leading development of applications backed by AWS services or using other cloud-based technologies and services experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
