Infrastructure Site Reliability Engineer (Entry Level) - USDS
SRE at TikTok combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, distributed, fault‑tolerant systems. In our team, you’ll manage the complex challenges of scale, using expertise in coding, algorithms, complexity analysis, and large‑scale system design. Responsibilities
Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through development, capacity planning, launch reviews, to deployment and operation, and automate where possible.
Design and implement dashboards and monitoring frameworks for efficient, automated, and intelligent service‑oriented architecture governance.
Scale systems elastically through automation; evolve reliability, efficiency, and velocity by pushing for changes.
Practice efficient customer support, incident response, and blameless post‑mortems.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Industrial or internship experience in accredited internet or cloud companies.
Proficiency in one of Python, GoLang, Java, or Shell.
Familiarity with Linux system internals, networking, and distributed systems.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with MySQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker, Hadoop, Spark, Flink, HDFS, etc.
Experience designing and analyzing large‑scale distributed systems.

Job Information
Base salary range: $112,725 – $177,840 annually.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance; 401(k) with company match; paid parental leave; short‑term and long‑term disability coverage; life insurance; wellbeing benefits; 10 paid holidays; 10 paid sick days; 17 days paid personal time.
Hybrid work schedule: employees are required to work in the office three days per week, unless directed otherwise by department.
