Channel Marketing Director Location: Houston, TX, United States

The Channel Marketing Director will work with regional US retail energy sales teams in developing and executing marketing strategy across key U.S. power markets–ERCOT, PJM/MISO, NEPOOL/NYISO, supporting both direct and broker‑served business. In this Houston, TX based role you will oversee a team of regional and channel‑focused marketers. You will drive integrated demand generation, brand positioning, and sales enablement initiatives tailored to regional dynamics. As Director you will also coordinate national marketing efforts for direct B2B and broker channels, ensuring alignment with ENGIE's green growth strategy and commercial priorities.

Responsibilities

Create Regional Marketing Strategy – develop and execute tailored marketing plans for each power region, aligned with local market dynamics, regulatory trends, and customer needs.

Manage Regional Marketing Team – supervise regional marketing advisors and channel marketers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and performance accountability.

Drive Demand Generation – launch integrated campaigns to generate qualified pipeline across direct and broker channels, leveraging digital, content, and event‑based tactics.

Support Broker Channel Growth – partner with sales and analytics to develop targeted programs that incentivize broker engagement and increase margin contribution.

Coordinate National Marketing Initiatives – oversee marketing efforts that span multiple regions, including brand campaigns, co‑marketing partnerships, and strategic sponsorships.

Ensure Regional Brand Consistency – maintain ENGIE's brand standards across all regional marketing outputs, ensuring consistency and relevance.

Monitor Performance & ROI – track campaign effectiveness, pipeline contribution, and regional marketing KPIs, adjusting strategies to optimize impact.

What You’ll Bring

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the U.S. power industry or B2B marketing leadership roles, with a focus on regional/channel marketing in the energy or industrial sectors.

Proven leadership experience managing marketing teams and cross‑functional initiatives.

Deep understanding of U.S. power markets and broker dynamics.

Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing performance tracking.

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.

Additional Details

Eligible for a hybrid schedule consisting of in‑office and work‑from‑home opportunities (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Must be available to travel up to 25% of the time, with some overnight trips.

Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record.

Must have the ability to travel domestically and internationally on limited occasions.

Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies.

Compensation Salary Range:

$150,600–$230,920 USD annually. This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus/incentive plan.
