About the Role Supplier Quality Engineer

will ensure the quality and reliability of our vendors (GPU/CPU, Thermal & Cooling system, Network). This role requires deep understanding of compute manufacturing processes and quality management systems. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem‑solver with strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of driving continuous improvement with key vendors.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.

Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics, including defect rates and delivery timelines.

Manage and resolve supplier quality issues, including non‑conformances and deviations.

Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Work closely with engineering teams to ensure components meet design specifications.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality and reliability.

Collaborate with internal teams to improve product quality and reduce costs.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve product issues early in the development and manufacturing lifecycle.

Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a robust QMS aligned with industry regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of the data center industry and compute manufacturing operations.

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Understanding of hardware manufacturing processes and quality assurance methodologies.

Familiarity with ISO standards, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.

Effective communication and cross‑functional teamwork skills.

Experience in vendor management and supply chain quality control.

Experience with scripting languages or automation tools.

Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis techniques.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QMS software and ERP systems (Netsuite preferred).

Travel 25‑50%.

Nice to Have

Certifications such as Six Sigma or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).

Experience in the High‑Performance Compute sector.

Experience with lean principles.

Salary & Benefits Base salary range: $157,000 to $210,000. Compensation is based on knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Total rewards include a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.
