Responsibilities
Leading the enrollment and administration of employee benefit plans
Managing the benefits email inbox, providing excellent customer service when addressing employee queries in a timely manner
Conducting bi-weekly new hire benefits orientation
Leading the annual enrollment process, including health fair and communications
Helping with the development and execution of a robust wellness benefits program
Managing the full leave of absence cycle
Maintaining benefits material on Workday, and helping with employee communications
Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations such as ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, ADA, etc., including conducting required DOL / IRS audits
Assisting in the preparation and data validation for annual filings
Liaising with vendors, and partners to facilitate benefits administration as well as resolving employee benefit matters
Preparing monthly benefits reports for 3rd party insurers, and auditing / processing monthly invoices (HSA, FSA and transit plans, etc.)
Reviewing weekly benefits carrier connections, including conducting audits to ensure accuracy of participant enrollments with vendors and investigating any errors
Preparing and distributing COBRA documents, departure memos, and other time sensitive benefits notices
Supporting the regional Payroll / Benefits team and participate in cross-training as part of the disaster recovery plan
Qualifications
At least 3 years of HR experience in Benefits
Experience with HR systems (ADP & Workday), a plus
Strong PC skills - Google (including Word, Excel, Google Mail, Google Calendar, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of pivot tables, V Look Up, formulas a plus
Strong analytical and research skills; well organized, and a self-starter
Strong customer service and presentation skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent time management
Payroll experience is a plus
Anticipated annual base salary range $70,000-$90,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus
