opportunity at a well‑known client located in

Sunnyvale, CA . Anticipated start ASAP until February 2026 with potential for temp‑to‑hire.

Shifts:

Monday – Friday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Top Skills You Should Possess

Active/unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Certified Physician Assistant (PA‑C) license in the state of California

Pediatric experience preferred

Minimum two years’ experience as a provider within Occupational/Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Corrections, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice type setting

What You’ll Be Doing

Assessment, triage, treatment, and education

Provide first‑aid medical treatment

Chronic condition management

Perform onsite physical assessments (annual physicals, pre‑placement, return‑to‑work, fitness‑for‑duty)

Ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc.

Provide medical testing such as spirometry, EKGs, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening and perform limited interpretation of tests

Provide onsite testing for strep pharyngitis, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia

Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies

What You Need to Bring to the Table

National certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA)

Current prescription authority required and DEA number

Current BLS/CPR (hands‑on courses only – no online accepted)

NPI number

Computer skills with previous experience using EMR (Epic and/or OHM a plus)

Yearly TB test or Quantiferon Gold

Interpersonal skills necessary to interview, teach and counsel patients and interact with clients/employees
