Occupational Health / Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Position: Nurse Practitioner or PA-C required for a full-time temp contract opportunity in Sunnyvale, CA. Start ASAP with contract through February 2026 and potential for temp-to-hire.

Responsibilities Shift: Monday – Friday 9:30 am – 6:30 pm
Assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employees and their families (ages 2+).
Provide first‑aid medical treatment.
Chronic condition management.
Perform onsite physical assessments (annual physicals, pre‑placement, return‑to‑work, fitness‑for‑duty).
Treat ambulatory care conditions such as sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc.
Perform medical testing such as spirometry, EKGs, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening, and limited interpretation of tests.
Provide onsite testing for strep pharyngitis, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia, and hypoglycemia.
Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.
Qualifications
Active/unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in California.
Pediatric experience preferred.
Minimum two years' experience as a provider within occupational/employee health, emergency medicine, urgent care, corrections, primary care, internal medicine, or family practice type setting.
Required Certifications and Other Skills
Nationally Certified (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA).
Current prescription authority required and DEA registration.
Current BLS/CPR (hands‑on courses only).
NPI.
Computer skills with previous experience using EMR (Epic and/or OHM a plus!).
Yearly TB Test or QuantiFERON Gold.
Interpersonal skills to interview, teach, and counsel patients and interact with clients/employees.
