Position: Business Development Director (Remote – North Carolina Only)

Employment Type:

1099 Independent Contractor | Commission-Only | Full-Time

Role Overview As a Business Development Director, you’ll prospect and close deals with

business owners and executives across North Carolina , focusing on key metro areas such as

Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro, Durham, and Wilmington .

You’ll manage your own book of business remotely, supported by

HubSpot CRM , a full contact database, and ongoing leadership guidance from the Owner.

This role is ideal for high-performing professionals who enjoy working independently while being part of a global organization with a local, team‑oriented culture.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

Prospecting and closing new clients across North Carolina through virtual channels

Conducting consultative sales calls with C‑suite decision makers

Managing leads and pipeline via

HubSpot CRM

Attending virtual networking events and online conferences as needed

Coordinating strategy directly with the Owner to meet revenue targets

Maintaining client relationships to drive renewals and referrals

Who Thrives Here Required:

5–7+ years of experience in

managed services, IT, or B2B sales

Proven track record as a

self‑generating hunter

Must reside in

North Carolina (metro areas preferred)

Eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred:

Experience in

cybersecurity or offshore engineering sales

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Strong presentation and negotiation skills

Compensation & Benefits Compensation:

15% of gross sales

Estimated First‑Year Earnings:

$100K–$150K+ (based on production)

Long‑Term Potential:

$250K+ —

uncapped commissions
