Position Business Development Director (Hybrid – Charlotte, NC)

Employment Type 1099 Independent Contractor | Commission-Only | Full-Time

Role Overview As a Business Development Director, you’ll lead business growth across the

Charlotte market

— meeting face-to-face with executives, attending local networking events, and developing relationships with business owners who need world‑class cybersecurity and IT solutions. You’ll have full flexibility in your schedule, direct access to leadership, and the opportunity to grow with one of the most respected names in the industry.

Responsibilities

Prospecting, presenting, and closing deals with business executives and decision‑makers

Leading outreach efforts across Charlotte’s corporate and SMB markets

Attending networking events, trade shows, and client meetings locally

Managing your pipeline using

HubSpot CRM

and our full sales database

Collaborating with ownership on strategy and revenue goals

Maintaining strong follow‑up habits to ensure client success and retention

Qualifications Required:

5–7+ years in B2B or managed services sales

Proven hunter experience — must be self‑motivated and results‑driven

Located in or near

Charlotte, NC

Eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred:

Background in cybersecurity, IT services, or offshore engineering

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to thrive without corporate micromanagement

Compensation & Benefits Compensation:

15% of gross sales

Estimated First‑Year Earnings:

$100K–$150K+ (based on production)

Long‑Term Potential:

$250K+ with

uncapped commissions

and

end‑of‑year performance bonuses
