Security Officer - Armed Government Site Patrol
in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. This Part‑Time role allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new positions using our Claim a Shift platform.

DayTime – Thursday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Friday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do
Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving to maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points, checking credentials and reporting any irregularities.
Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and the site.
Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions while maintaining a security-related presence.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required by site protocols.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to any threats or emergencies that may arise at the location.
Minimum Requirements
Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
