DayTime Tue 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Wed 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to deter potential threats and unauthorized activities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to observe and report any suspicious behavior or security‑related concerns.
Interact with the public and staff in a courteous and professional manner, offering assistance as needed.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and security‑related activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel as required during incidents and/or critical events.
Minimum Requirements
Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
