The Role If you are passionate about oligonucleotide synthesis, modified chemistries, and advanced analytical workflows, we want to hear from you. You will be hands‑on in the lab, executing high‑quality synthesis and purification while optimizing methods for both client projects and internal R&D.
What You’ll Do
Oligo Synthesis:
Write protocols and perform solid‑phase synthesis of DNA, RNA, ASO, siRNA, PMO, and modified oligos.
Analysis & QC:
Operate and interpret data using
LC–MS (Waters)
and
HPLC (Agilent)
to ensure purity and identity.
Instrument Management:
Maintain and troubleshoot automated oligo synthesizers ( Mermade / Dr. Oligo
).
Purification:
Execute purification and deprotection workflows with a focus on high quality and yield.
Innovation:
Support peptide–oligo conjugates and AOC‑related chemistries, contributing to overall platform development.
Optimization:
Develop and refine synthesis and purification methods to improve efficiency for internal programs.
Lab Operations:
Maintain lab excellence, including instrument upkeep, documentation, and QC standards.
What You Bring
Education:
PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, or a related field (0–5+ years experience) OR MS/BS with strong, hands‑on industry experience.
Technical Expertise:
Deep experience with oligonucleotide solid‑phase synthesis and automated synthesizers.
Analytical Skills:
Strong proficiency in LC–MS, HPLC, and oligo purification workflows.
