As an Electromechanical Component Engineer for the Tesla Bot Program, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of humanoid robotics. You will be responsible for developing and designing cutting‑edge interconnect technologies that drive the architecture of our Tesla Bot. This high‑paced, high‑visibility role will challenge you daily to push the boundaries of connector design, dynamic interconnects, and robust distribution systems.

What You’ll Do

Design and develop innovative interconnect technologies for humanoid robotics, focusing on connector design and dynamic interconnect systems

Engineer robust distribution systems to ensure reliability and performance under demanding conditions

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to integrate interconnect solutions into the Tesla Bot architecture

Conduct testing and validation of components to meet stringent performance and durability standards

Identify and resolve technical challenges in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality solutions

Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and improve designs

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience

3 years of experience in electromechanical component design, with a focus on interconnect technologies or connector systems

Expertise in designing dynamic interconnects and distribution systems for high‑performance applications

Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools for component design and analysis

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to thrive in a high‑paced, challenging environment

Experience in robotics is preferred

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams

Expected Compensation $88,000 - $228,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
