APPLICATIONS ANALYST III - IT CLINICAL SYSTEMS The EPIC Application Analyst is the primary support contacts for each Epic application. The Applications Analyst is responsible for coordinating all issues that arise during the project for their application areas and must be very knowledgeable about the organization's policies, procedures, and business operations. Actively leads and takes ownership for the build and maintenance of system dictionaries, profiles, tables and other configuration points. Manages system enhancement requests directly with the vendor and various IT Technical teams. Leads and/or facilitates system design, validation and/or remediation sessions.

– Position may require local travel between various Organization locations.

Work Organization –

Education and Experience

Minimum five (5) years’ experience with the application, module or equivalent system as assigned. Expert knowledge of the assigned application in at least one functional area. Ability to mentor junior application analysts

Preferred :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience in a related field. Two (2) or more years’ experience with the application, module or equivalent system as assigned. Two (2) or more years’ experience working in a Health Care Application Services department, preferably within an acute care environment.

Proficient with Microsoft office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project

IT Department EPIC only

EPIC Applications Analysts are required to have specific EPIC Module knowledge in the EPIC Application area they are assigned to.

Experience with data query tools such as SQL
