We are seeking a highly qualified
Bankruptcy Associate Attorney
with
4–7 years of post-law school experience
to join a top-tier
Bankruptcy & Business Reorganization Practice Group . This opportunity is available in either the
Boston
or
New York
office and offers a
hybrid work schedule . This is an excellent opportunity to handle high-profile, complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters as part of a nationally recognized, collaborative team of over 50 professionals. Key Responsibilities: Draft motions, pleadings, settlement agreements, asset purchase agreements, and plans of reorganization Argue motions in bankruptcy court and participate in hearings and proceedings such as receiverships Represent a wide range of stakeholders, including debtors, creditors, trustees, committees, noteholders, and acquirers Collaborate on Chapter 11 and other insolvency-related matters Advise on inter-creditor issues, corporate trust structures, and distressed transactions Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school 4–7 years of experience
in bankruptcy and restructuring at a major law firm Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills Experience representing various stakeholders in bankruptcy proceedings Familiarity with inter-creditor issues, corporate trust, and distressed transactions Prior clerkship with a U.S. Bankruptcy or federal court is a plus Admitted to the Bar in
Massachusetts or New York , or eligible to waive in Preferred Experience: Sector-specific experience in healthcare, senior living, education, or manufacturing Experience working with indenture trustees, bondholders, collateral agents, or tax-advantaged investors Salary & Benefits: Base Salary:
$290,000 – $390,000 (commensurate with experience) Bonus:
