Program Staff
Purpose The Director of Production (DOP) will play a key role in creating environments where the arts can tell God’s story in a creative and compelling way at Christ Church’s worship services, ministry gatherings, and special events. This individual will help shape, build, and support the Production Team’s culture, recruit, train, and oversee volunteers, manage equipment and systems, and oversee content creation for video stories and podcasts. The DOP will also manage outside events at the Oak Brook and Butterfield campuses.
Position Focus Production (Ministry Services)
Supervisory Relationships
Reports to the Executive Director of Worship Arts & Communication
Oversees Worship Technical Coordinators
Serves on the Worship Arts and Communication Leadership Team
Oversees volunteers and occasional staff
Essential Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of production including budgeting, staffing, project management, maintenance, repair, and purchase planning at both campuses
Innovate in technical arts, especially video, to enhance worship and engagement
Recruit, train, shepherd, and manage staff and volunteers
Collaborate on worship, events, and digital content creation
Provide leadership for video, streaming, and online service delivery
Support production for ministry gatherings, funerals, weddings, and events
Produce audio and video content for worship and online spaces
Spiritual Development
Support personal spiritual growth through worship, prayer, scripture, small groups, and service

Work Hours and Availability
Weekday and Sunday hours, including evenings, weekends, and extended hours for events

Qualifications Education and Experience
5+ years managing and supervising teams
3+ years technical experience in video, audio, lighting
Experience in church production, event production, or television
