So what does a Tax Manager do at Sansiveri? As aTax Departmentmember, you will be responsible for managing staffand preparingtax compliance and advisory work for a diverse client base. You will work closely withTaxStaff, Seniors,Supervisors, and Partners to ensure that clients’tax needs are met with the highest level of professionalism.You will serve as a trusted advisorto clients, providing strategic tax guidance while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead thepreparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and entities (S and C corporations, partnerships, LLCs,trusts,etc.).
Research tax issues and interpret tax laws and regulations to determine optimal client solutions.
Collaborate withTaxStaff,Seniors,Supervisors,Managers, andPartners on the preparation ofreports, presentations, and other tax–related documents.
Participate in firm–wide initiatives such as internal process improvement and training programs.
Serve as the primarypoint of contact for clients while maintaining and buildingboth existing and newrelationships.
Qualifications:
Minimumof 6 years offederal andstateincometaxpreparationand reviewexperience in public accountingforS and C corporations, partnerships, multi–state returns, high net worth individuals, and trusts.
Experience withtax planning for closely held businesses and their owners.
Track record oftraining, developing, supervising, and mentoring staffwhile managing multiple engagementsand client relationships acrossa variety of industries simultaneously.
Desire to take onadditional responsibilities and become a Partner.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license required (MST degree preferred).
