Responsibilities

Provide Windows XP desktop and MS Office 2003 products software support. Basic LAN Administration for Windows 2000/2003 servers and workstations. Email Administration. Installation of workstation and file server software and hardware – locally and via remote. Support in technology upgrades: both hardware and software. Diagnosis and resolution of LAN configuration problems. Provide problem tracking support (CA Service Center) – end-user desktop/server support. Evaluation and diagnosing of cabling, software and hardware problems. Installation and support of telecommunications hardware. Basic WAN/LAN troubleshooting skills/tools – TCP/IP, Traceroute, NBSTAT, PING, etc. Documentation of standard IT processes and procedures.
