Sr. PeopleSoft Engineer: senior developer/analyst responsible for PeopleSoft System operation, maintenance and enhancement. Remote, full‑time. Responsibilities

Execute all phases of EPIC – planning, analysis, design, coding, debugging, documentation, testing, deployment of system enhancements, conversions, interfaces, reports. Understand business user needs and translate them into project deliverables. Identify process and efficiency improvement opportunities; recommend solutions. Assess risks and issues, develop mitigation plans. Implement quality assurance processes to meet standards and business requirements. Prioritise and execute tasks to meet organisational timelines, delivering within scope, budget and quality. Create test, deployment and training plans and materials. Create test and deployment scripts. Program, test, debug, implement, and document PeopleSoft code and integration with external systems. Design technical solutions based on functional specifications. Resolve complex technical problems while supporting day‑to‑day operations. Deliver production support: track, develop, test, implement short‑and long‑term solutions for PeopleSoft HCM issues. Identify data problems and assist functional teams with data rationalization/cleanup strategies. Assist in unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing requirements. Produce clear documentation, workflow diagrams, business process charts for all work. Maintain current business reports, develop new ones as required. Stay current on industry and PeopleSoft technical trends, enhancing skills and knowledge. Perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications

7+ years Peoplesoft needs & support experience, at least 3 years with PeopleSoft 9.x (prefer newer versions). Bachelor’s in Computer Science, MIS or related discipline; or 4 additional years of relevant experience can substitute. Other Qualifications

Extensive experience in PeopleSoft FSCM or HCM modules. In‑depth knowledge of 3–5 PeopleSoft Financial modules (Grants, Project Costing, Purchasing, A/R, GL, Expenses, A/R, Billing, Cash Management, Travel & Expenses, Commitment Control). In‑depth understanding of 3+ PeopleSoft HCM modules (Core HR, Benefits Admin, National Payroll, Self‑Service Manager and Employee, Recruiting, Payroll Execution, Performance, Compensation, etc.). Proficiency in PeopleTools (8.57+), including PeopleCode, App Engine, Portal, Security, Application Designer, Component Interface, Integration Broker, PS Query, BI Publisher, SQR, AWE. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Fluid Pages, Tiles, Navigation Collections, Work Centers, Activity Guides, web service tech (Integration Broker, REST, SOAP). Problem solving experience in PeopleSoft environments. Experience with Drop Zones, Event Mapping, Page Composer, Page Field Configurator. Experience building third‑party integrations and sys‑to‑sys integrations via APIs, web services and other methods. Knowledge of software development methods, life cycles, change management, PeopleSoft architecture. Experience in people software database development, TSQL, relational query optimisation, triggers, stored procedure tuning, database triggers. Documentation skills for business processes, re‑engineering workflows for efficient workflows. Ability to work outside core business hours for special projects, production support and emergencies.
