Position Location This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters site. Our Sandoz flexible hybrid working approach allows US office‑based employees to work up to 50% of their monthly workday remotely. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely. Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.

Job Responsibilities

Draft Market Access contracts for assigned accounts and manage the end‑to‑end contracting process, including contract and template design, development, drafting, approval, submission, redline, execution, and interfacing with Contract Operations for Sandoz Contract Lifecycle Management system.

Manage the contracting process for assigned accounts and negotiate and execute contracts with MCOs, PBMs, Health Plans, Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors, GPOs, and Integrated Delivery Networks.

Collaborate with the Market Access & Account Strategy team on the development and implementation of new product and contracting strategies, including new product launches.

Liaise with Legal and internal business partners to develop standard and customized terms and conditions, ensuring all financial, legal, compliance, and corporate guidelines are met and maintaining appropriate contract templates to support approved contracting strategy.

Work with Account Managers and internal team members to ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Provide guidance and mentoring to Contracts team members, training the team on new processes and sharing standard methodology.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Minimum 5 years of experience drafting and negotiating pharmaceutical commercial contracts.

Advanced understanding of legal and business aspects of commercial pharmaceutical contracts, including interpretation of contract terms.

Broad‑based contracting experience across multiple customer segments (Managed Care, Specialty Pharmacies, Distribution, Institutional).

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management and collaborate across departments.

Highly developed time‑management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities with initiative.

Preferred Requirements

People management experience.

Advanced degree in Legal Studies, Health Administration, or Business Administration.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between

$145,600



$270,400

USD/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including geography, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package may also include a sign‑on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards. Benefit details will be provided upon offer. If hired, the employee will be an “at‑will” position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary and other discretionary payment or compensation programs at any time.

On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5‑year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations, CIA‑related deliverables, and any relevant audit, monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation. This role will have sub‑certifier responsibilities.
