Bay Cove Human Services’ mission is to partner with people to overcome challenges and realize personal potential. Bay Cove pursues this mission by providing individualized and compassionate services to people facing the challenges associated with developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance use disorders, and homelessness at more than 175 program sites throughout Greater Boston and Southeast Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Coordinator provides varied services, training and support to the programs in Developmental Services. The Quality Assurance Coordinator contributes to Bay Cove’s mission by promoting effectiveness and maximizing efficiency. This is a non-exempt position.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Functions of the Position:

Assists in monitoring designated quality assurance functions including DPH standards, Bay Cove standards and outcome measures, program site visits, documentation systems, incident reports, patient/client grievances and satisfaction surveys.

Assists with completion of proposals and policies.

Promotes improved communication within the programs and between the division and programs through the design and standardization of communication systems.

Promotes standardization of systems and provides training and technical assistance as needed.

Assists with CARF accreditation and DPH Licensing & Certification and other external reviews, as needed.

Assists with a variety of research and administrative tasks such as data entry, data analysis and development of health promotion materials.

Assists as needed with new program start up.

All other duties as assigned.

Requirements for the Position:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or a related field and at least two years of experience in the human services field.

Demonstrated professional writing, interpersonal, communication, oral presentation, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet preparation.

Utilizes a flexible and responsible work style that meets evolving needs of the agency.

Works with integrity and respects the dignity and value of all individuals.
