About Us The Fundamental Group started out as a media agency, specialising in clients within the Asset Management and Higher Education sectors. The Role Reporting directly to the Director of Search, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our paid search team as an SEM Support Specialist. The SEM Support Specialist’s natural abilities in task management, analytics and efficiency make them a valuable contributor to the executive functions and the success of our team. You assist with research and data gathering initiatives, account and campaign set up, reporting, and eventually learn how to analyze and interpret campaign data and then utilize that information to increase performance. This role can be considered a first step towards establishing your career in the Digital Media industry. Key Responsibilities: Researches, monitors and organizes all analytical campaign data as requested by senior team members. Assists with the development and delivery of internal and external campaign reports. Assists in the execution of account transition and campaign launch processes. Serves as a “boots on the ground” contributor to the management team giving important insights that assist in developing optimization strategy, reports and projections. Participates in regular check in meetings with SEM manager(s) and Optimization Specialists to review internal monthly and quarterly account data insights reporting. Assists in execution of any projects or tasks outside of those required of their normal account responsibilities. Actively uses and updates FM tools and systems. Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience working in a similar marketing role, or you are a recent college graduate with relevant coursework An interest and passion in analyzing your campaigns and pushing for the best outcome Meticulous attention to detail. Awareness of media trends and an interest in finance or investing. Eagerness to work alongside a range of people and as an integral part of a team. Demonstrable ability to make sensible, intelligent decisions in difficult and deadline driven situations. A passionate approach to tasks with a can-do attitude – committed to upholding professional standards while being flexible and self-motivated. Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite, specifically Excel. Certifications in digital marketing, such as Google Ads or Bing.
