*Starting from $250,000.00 - $275,000.00 annually plus additional incentives*
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a performance bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Pay is based on location, experience, and qualifications etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the accounting organization.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, lender requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and consolidation processes with accuracy and timeliness.
Own the preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports.
Collaborate with the CFO on financial strategy, capital structure, and growth initiatives (e.g., acquisitions, dispositions, financing).
Partner with Operations, Asset Management, and HR on forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
Build, develop, and retain a high-performing accounting team.
Implement training, tools, and systems to drive efficiency and accuracy across the organization.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
CPA required; MBA or Master’s in Accounting/Finance preferred.
10 + years progressive accounting/finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior corporate accounting leadership role.
Experience in hospitality, real estate, or multi-entity portfolio businesses strongly preferred.
Proven track record of leading consolidations, audits, and complex accounting environments.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and compliance.
Experience with ERP/financial systems and scaling accounting processes in a growth organization.
Strategic mindset with hands‑on leadership style.
Strong communication skills; ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
