Record physical and history on assigned service with countersignature within 24 hours.* Apply and remove casts and/or traction* Change surgical dressings/perform minor suturing/removal of sutures* Order routine laboratory work and x-rays.* Start IV's and draw blood.* On the instruction of the attending physician, will write orders for medical and intravenous fluid.* Write routine orders including diet, patient activity and all other diagnostic procedures.* May see patients in ER/ECP and/or Clinic**Experience and Education:*** Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant school* Registered as a Physician's Assistant in New York* NCCPA(certified) DEA license/CPR-BLS/NPI/NCC PA required.* Minimum of one experience as a PA.Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital is an equal employment opportunity employer.
