Pediatrician Director

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Compensation:
$300,000–$310,000 per year
Role Summary:
We are hiring a Pediatrician Director who is passionate about advancing health equity and improving outcomes for children and families in underserved communities. The Director will guide pediatric providers, set department-wide priorities, and ensure that care is culturally concordant, family-centered, and responsive to the needs of the Black community.
Primary Duties
Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing pediatric care team
Develop and implement clinical protocols aligned with organizational goals
Lead quality assurance, safety, and performance improvement efforts
Collaborate with community organizations to address pediatric health disparities
Oversee departmental operations, including budgeting and program development
Qualifications
Valid California medical license; no disciplinary history
Board-certified in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds
Current DEA and BLS certifications
7+ years of ambulatory pediatric experience with leadership responsibilities
Experience in community-based or FQHC settings and working with the Black community
