Position Overview We are seeking a
Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Neurologist
to join a well-established, physician‑led medical group. This opportunity offers a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, strong professional support, and a great deal of practice autonomy.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $365,000
Productivity Bonus: % of collections or RVU-based incentive
Relocation Assistance: Provided
Paid Time Off (PTO): 20 days + holidays
CME: 5 days + $5,000 annual allowance

Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive neurological care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of neurological disorders
Conduct and interpret diagnostic studies such as EEG, EMG, and imaging
Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with organizational policies
Participate in call coverage (1:3 light call rotation)
Engage in continuous quality improvement and best practice initiatives
Qualifications & Skills
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency program
Fellowship training in subspecialty neurology (preferred but not required)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Eligibility for Illinois state medical license
Current DEA certification or ability to obtain
Skills
Expertise in diagnosing and managing neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, and neuromuscular conditions
Proficiency in conducting and interpreting neurodiagnostic tests (EEG, EMG, NCV, etc.)
Strong clinical judgment and decision‑making skills
Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuous professional development
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and timely documentation
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team‑based setting
Work Schedule & Practice Environment
Full‑time, permanent position
Optional
4‑day workweek
with excellent work–life balance
Outpatient‑focused with limited inpatient responsibilities (varies by practice model)
Experienced support staff to streamline clinical efficiency
Shared
1:3 light call rotation
with neurology colleagues
Low physician turnover rate, highlighting strong physician satisfaction and stability
